Selling Cars

TODAY...I'm going to talk about cars. No, not cars in general-but one particular S 320 Mercedes Benz that is about 13 years old. Right before I was born, my mom decided that she wanted to get a car that would be extremely safe and comfortable. At the time my parents were still together and both worked at Microsoft. Today, when my mom picked me up from Ivy's house, she said "I sold the car." And I'm like "...What?" Tommorow we will trade in the Mercedes because the maintanence fees were getting too high. The price that we managed to trade it in for? $5000. The price it would take to fix the broken fan? $4500. So my mom sold it, and will buy a hybrid Lexus something-or-other to replace it. Yay for saving the environment. So I just finished cleaning out the car and taking a ton of pictures...but I feel sad, like I lost a favorite stuffed animal...or something. After all, I've spent my whole life with this car. It's like my dog died. >< -sigh- But it's really old already and we're going to get an awesome new environment-saving silver car...so I guess I shouldn't be complaining. But the new car costs a lot, like hybrids do now, and even though it will pay itself off within 5 years, Then I typed a bunch of stuff that I decided was too private to share so the end.
