and the whole frickin thing made my tummy hurt more

“Wow. We are finally here. We will never see our families again…” (Alex)
“I know! Isn’t it awesome! We are sooo lucky. This is like, the safest underground town! The comet won’t like, effect us a all.” (Tess)
“Yeah, whatever. This place is so dreary, man. Ach! A worm!” (Mel)
“Uh…Duh. We are like, underground. Though I gotta agree, g-ross.” (Tess)
“Wow. This place is so wet.” (Eric)
“Rows and rows of houses…and there isn’t a single TV! I packed the x-box for nothing!” (Alex)

You have a genetic mutation so when you touch someone, they are…paralyzed. They stay paralyzed depending on how long you touch them, but so far nothing has been permanent. We need you to help us keep control of this harv—Underground Town. And we have chosen you. You are dismissed.” (Council Member)
